The do-nothing approach of all levels of government when under the control of climate-denying politicians is shameful. Decades have been wasted while politicians catch up to what scientists have been warning about all along. Meanwhile the cost continues to grow. The longer governments dither, deflect, or obstruct the implementation of a robust, ambitious climate change plan, the costlier and more onerous the ultimate plan will need to be.
