I have reviewed the Environmental Commissioners of Ontario's report released today Sept 25, 2018. I am deeply concerned about the current governments approach to climate change. I am opposed to the Cap & Trade cancellation act (Bill 4) The election of a new government is not a mandate to halt positive progress on climate change initiatives. I support the recommendations made by the commissioner in her report today. The future of a prosperous healthy future for the next generation depends on our actions today. Ontarians deserve real consultation on climate policy which includes honest discussion about the financial and personal burden of climate disasters like the tornadoes this week through the Ottawa regions.
