I do not agree with…

I do not agree with cancelling the cap and trade program in Ontario. This program encouraged industry to create innovative solutions and invest in cleaner technology and reduced GHG emissions in Ontario - which is essential to combat climate change. As a result of cancelling Cap and Trade in Ontario the Crown will have to pay a lot of money, which I believe is not worth it, as this will cost taxpayers lots of money.

As well, the new Act requires a plan to be created, but at this point the public is not aware of that this new plan is, how effective it will be, and how much it will cost. Cancelling an effective climate change mitigation instrument with a "plan" is not how Ontario should be combating climate change.
