HOPA Ports recommends that the Urban River Valley in the area of the Oshawa Harbour Marina Lands and East Wharf be revised to reflect the City of Oshawa Council-endorsed boundaries as identified in City of Oshawa Agenda Item DS-21-72.
It is further recommended that the southeastern limit of the urban river boundary align with the open space boundary of the area designated as a provincially significant wetland (PSW), rather than following the rail line.
Please note, with regard to the 'Oshawa Harbour and Marina Lands' it is our understanding that publicly owned lands means lands in the ownership of the Province, a municipality or a local board, including a conservation authority.
