Hello,
All this money and time on this project is a wasting taxpayers' money right now. The leases were set to expire, everyone knew it, but privileged folks have a lot of sway on governments. Continued dragging of heels is unfair to those that followed the original plan. With everything going on in the province and the country (weather, flooding, housing (these are cottages afterall)), NOT creating brand new private lots in a flood plain should be a no-brainer. That is, unless the province wants even more taxpayers' money to go into this for decades to come...
