I do not see the need to extend the lease agreements again.
I propose that these remaining leases be given a firm termination date so that the park may focus efforts on curtailing the invasive species introduced by said cottagers over the years......AND that park may be truly a public provincial park.
And I'd like to see First Nations Wisdom keepers part of the re-patriation of these lands in terms of the return of endemic species. We have such wisdom about this land of the Three Fires Confederacy, that Rondeau could be true partnership in stewardship would be a win for generations to come.......generations from diverse backgrounds, not just a few who have enjoyed the privilege of setting up vacation homes.......in a manner that is respectful of the park's many natural treasures.
