I believe this development plan will harm the long term health of the environment and also harm the health of the citizens who use the Green Belt.

I live in Mississauga and commute at least three times a week to go hiking and enjoy the outdoors at Halton Conservation Area. The Green Belt provides a valuable place for leisure activity and allows for the preservation of the natural environment that all of us Canadians take pride in.

The planned development should be planned for a location that has not been designated as protected land. Our country is very large and many regions are underserved. Please invest in those communities in order to stimulate their local economies, and build homes and jobs for new immigrants that we welcome to Canada.
