Why you think the only option is to build on an environmental buffer space is completely lost on me. This is a huge Provence, not just one city. The Greenbelt is a marvel that preserves southern Ontario's natural environmental stability. Whatever government starts on the slippery slope of cutting into the Greenbelt, will lose my vote and never get it back
