Developing the Greenbelt is an utterly flawed proposal. It reeks of politics and cheap backroom deals. It will not result in any kind of sustainable, or affordable housing. It will benefit developers who will scurry off as soon as the projects are completed, leaving the taxpayers (the ones the Doug Ford government claims to care about so much) paying the resulting costs for developing areas that should have been left alone.
