I would like to register my VERY STRONG opposition to the changes to the Greenbelt Protection Plan. DOUG FORD YOU PROMISED YOU WOULD NOT TOUCH OUR GREEN BELT! Please keep your promise.
This sensitive area is some of our last untouched nature in Ontario & I will oppose any development very strongly. Myself & my family care enough about this issue that we are willing to take leave of absences from work to protest this heinous destruction. We will lay down in front of bulldozers, we will chain ourselves to trees. We will endeavor to make this process & painful & expensive to developers as possible (please know that we are not 'tree huggers' that have ever done anything like this before), but this needless destruction crosses a line (much like the shameful recent use of the 'notwithstadning' clause.
Please reconsider, there are many other ways to build houses without destroying our last precious bits of nature.
