Completely against the proposed plan as it neglects the importance of protecting the Greenbelt which has been protected for so long.

This will not help with traffic, with environmental issues, with housing but rather increase the the issues already faced. The province should look at changing zoning laws in current areas and increasing density. Urban sprawl does not make for happy people or for a happy environment because it relies on the use of a car, limits access to community due to the lack of pedestrian friendly, tight knit communities, and more importantly it negatively impacts the environment by damaging ecosystems, riding out wildlife, and contributing to to the pollution and carbon release throughout the developments.

The Ford government is only in this for the $$ from developers and does not care about the greater impacts on society or the environment as a whole. Consultations of clearly explained the issues with this and you don't have to reach far to find alternative solutions.
