It is so frustrating to hear that once again developers are winning and finding a government willing to back track on its promises to not open up the greenbelt.

How could you think that this is okay? Your land swap has been shown to be a con - it's not just about having protected land somewhere in Ontario, it's about a tract of interconnected environment that functions together, and will forever ensure that as a province we maintain some manner of environmental health.

Building in these lands will not relieve housing crisis, that requires infill in cities, with transit and local jobs. It requests governments to get back into building purpose built rentals, and it will take a willingness to stop the investmentification of family homes.
