In light of the climate crisis, we must look to build homes within our current municipalities and not encroach on green space. There are other options to increase density in our cities and towns without removing valuable protected environmental areas.

This plan also does not address the housing needs of low-income households and may displace renters.

We must ensure conservation authorities can continue to do their work of conserving lands and ensuring safe development.
