I am completely opposed to greenbelt development. To maintain a healthy planet for the future we need to protect its own environments today. Ontario doesn’t need more large housing developments and big box store centres, it needs high density housing that’s affordable to the majority of our populace. There are innumerable empty office buildings located in cities throughout the province that could easily be converted into affordable, safe, and comfortable housing for the many who need it. This is the type of out of the box thinking we need. Not just the current line of though, which is only helping the right get richer. Please leave the greenbelt alone.
