We need to protect our protected lands. Politicians have no right to just develop lands that have been set aside for the environment. Now is the time to develop urban lands and look for alternative solutions to the housing crisis. Spend the money to remediate existing lands, develop projects affordable to ALL citizens. Create communities, not commutes. The wonton destruction of environmentally protected spaces for monetary gains must stop.
