Reducing environmentally important and protected green space during a global environmental crisis is not the correct solution to the housing crisis.

The report specifically states a shortage of land is not the cause of the housing crisis. Outdated Zoning By-laws need to be addressed. In the report it is estimated 70% of land zoned for housing is restricted to single-detached homes or Semi-detached homes.
