This is wrong. Multiple experts in this field have cautioned against doing this. There is so much wasted space already developed in Ontario and perhaps that could be explored. I keep thinking of this retail plaza with a vacant Lowes building and how something like that could be converted to mixed use residential. I don’t have faith in this government, I’m sure they’ll just do what they want.
