To our premiere Mr. Doug Ford,

I am truely disappointed that you even consider this proposal. You promised in your campaign to leave the greenbelt alone, with the climate change crisis already upon us, developments on the greenbelt will further put us back in meeting climate targets. Housing is needed, sure, but doing it on a protected area that serves as an environmental buffer for Ontario is not the way. The greenbelt provides endless ecobenefits including protection of critical coastal wetlands and lakes. Removing them will further degrade Ontario's already fragile ecosystem.

You are elected to serve the people, that includes everyone in this province, not your deep pocketed buddies. So do the right thing, find a better alternative to build elsewhere and leave the greenbelt alone please.
