As an architect, I do support this present bill to satisfy the housing demand and to control house prices in the province.
My firm has worked on the residential project (118 Acres) in Welland and Port Colborne, Ontario but unfortunately, could not proceed further because of Provincial policy. This project is designed to make Net Zero residential development and each lot has independent septic tank and well. Subject land is surrounded by residences. See the attached document for review.
Bill 23, will encourage such kind of developments in the entire province, prices will go down and will give young generation, a choice for the residence to fulfill their wishes.
