To whom it may concern,
I fully support the proposed legislation intended to provide much needed housing by gentle intensification.
Most municipality's have established unrealistic restrictive zoning by laws that hinders an efficient and cost effective ARU's i.e. limiting floor areas based on main dwelling or lot area sizes, limiting the number of total bedrooms, Min' parking requirements and site plan control requirements.
It is imperative that the proposed legislation will be clear regarding the municipality's ability and or right to restrict ARU's characteristics using zoning by laws. If such restrictions are left in place little to no change will happen with the ability to execute such projects.
