This is a positive change and I support it. Would be nice to clarify if the conversion to accessory units within the primary dwelling can include increasing the floor area without triggering planning approvals - I hope this is the case. This is what height restrictions and lot coverage maximums regulate, so should be able to renovate/expand to get to the 3 unit maximum as of right.
