The green belt has been shrinking every year since I was a kid . I understand the need for more housing, but it is affordable housing we need, not 60' lots with 4,000sqft masions. Unless you are maximizing the housing density and building high density rental units it is a scam and a waste of this green space simply for political gain to make it look like you are doing something. I vote conservative and believe in the fiscal conservative policies but this short sighted knee jerk action after the green belt has been presserved for so many years is not right and will have me looking elsewhere in the next election.
