When does it end? When all the farmland, park space, green space, or trees are gone?

This plan is particularly short-sighted. given that these spaces will be filled with (mostly) poorly built, space-inefficient single family homes. This type of development will be a liability for future, both from a climate perspective (likely using methane gas for heating instead of air-tight construction + 4x more efficient electric heat pumps) and from a tax perspective (costly municipal services serviced by low-density housing).

What's "conservative" about cutting down our forests and selling out our childrens' futures to developers to make a quick buck?
