Doug Ford promised to leave…

Doug Ford promised to leave the Greenbelt alone. Why is he reneging on this promise? This is a deep betrayal to all Ontarians and I don’t support it.

This bill threatens the ecosystems we depend on and does little to address our current housing shortage - it only stands to make a couple of developers even wealthier, at the expense of Ontarians as a whole.

We should be encouraging densification in places near transit and services instead of greenlighting sprawl. We cannot afford to destroy fertile natural lands that we will never get back. We cannot afford to ignore existing environmental protections that keep our drinking water safe and preserve our wetlands to prevent floods.

Please, for current and future Ontarians, do not do this.
