My concern is that in this repeal green energy sources will be put aside in favour of dirty non-renewable sources like coal because hey are currently cheaper. I’m also unhappy about the cancelling of contracts and projects that have brought investment to Ontario, like the wind farm in PEC. The cancellation of that project was embarrassing and alienating to foreign green energy investment. This govt should be smarter than that. The cost of coal in the long run is much higher in terms of carbon emissions. We need to invest in green (wind, solar) production and consumption in Ontario. This govt needs to have a plan on how to make that transition. My kids depend on it.
