This highway is unnecessary except as a money-maker for Ford's developer friends. The wetlands and other protected spaces, including farmland, benefit everyone.
The money would be better spent on healthcare, education, and transit, especially the first two. However, it is crystal clear that Ford and his allies don't care about people, just profits.
