Hello,

I am a concerned member of the community here in Ontario. I am emailing to express my disgust with Doug Ford’s plan on developing over 7,000 acres of the protected greenbelt.
I cannot express how disgusted and disheartened I am with the provincial government, specifically the Progressive Conservatives.
Building more houses is not going to fix the housing crisis in Ontario. It’s laughable that this is the plan behind destroying protected land, when we know the Ford government is working with his friends in development companies. This government is not helping the people it is only creating a deeper divide between classes and individuals. You cannot deny that the houses going to be built, are not going to be affordable homes, we have seen it clear as day that the ford government is planning to build mega mansion which will not help anyone!

Please think of the greater population that is truly suffering because of Ford’s idiotic actions.

You can not also hide the fact that Ontario gets so much of its produce from the protected Greenbelt land. Both fruit and vegetable come from our very own land, the world is already having a fresh food crisis and we are actively going to make it worse. Not to mention the housing crisis will never stop.

KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF THE GREENBELT!!!
Do better for the people you said you were going to work for, or is it really only the upper class, and the wealthy that the Progressive Conservative Party cares about.
