There is no justification…

There is no justification for developing Greenbelt land for housing. It won’t provide a fraction of the housing that is necessary—it only serves to make certain developers a great deal of money.
Ford promised not to touch the Greenbelt, which serves multiple environmental needs, and provides invaluable farmland that is fast disappearing.
For goodness sake, be responsible! There are many ways to increase housing—as this government knows full well. Lining the pockets of cronies by breaking your promises and destroying priceless green space is unspeakably egregious. Ontarians will not be asleep in the next election. Be warned.
