I absolutely do not support development in the Greenbelt. We must create further intensification of the urban centres we already have to lessen people’s reliance of cars and to fully commit to climate action. This will also ensure that we have multiple thriving economic hub cities that people can live and work in. I do not support the Ford Governments completely transparent cronyism and disregard for our planet or our society as a whole. Look at what he did in Hamilton - the city voted to further intensify its existing boundary and he ‘orders’ them to expand the boundary even though the residents do not support and nor does responsible planning or climate action studies. This is a completely disingenuous plan at best, and contributing immensely to the climate crises that WE MUST FACE HEAD ON, NOW.
