The Greenbelt was created to protect the headwaters of the rivers that flow into Lake Ontario, to preserve valuable, well-connected ecosystems across the GTHA. We must save this area, not develop it!
Developing the Greenbelt is a slippery slope. Ontarians overwhelmingly want this land protected, not used to make rich developers even richer.
