The Green Belt should be…

The Green Belt should be protected in perpetuity and it should never be subjected to political whims. I have serious concerns about the land speculators who purchased land in the Green Belt and this should be investigated. Affordable housing would not be developed on this land - it would cater to high-end homes with large profit margins for the developers. Homes are needed inside cities where there are jobs, transportation, and other services. This proposal negates urban planning and ignores the value of these lands in maintaining the air and water we need to survive as well as the vitally important agricultural lands.
