The Greenbelt is an area vital to our environment, protecting land, animals and the wider ecosystem. As climate change becomes the most pressing issue facing the future of humanity, everything should be done to protect what we have left. The extremely short sighted vision of Bill 23 not only doesn't adequately address our housing needs but compromises critical environmental land. This bill is deeply flawed, falsely advertised, and sets a distressing precident that the environment is worth less than corporate greed.
