As a waterfront property owner I am devastated to think that someone could park a shipping container In front of my house! The noise, the loss of privacy, the noise and light pollution just make me sick. We own and pay taxes for waterfront for the peace and serenity. To enjoy the wild life and to have privacy.
I would seriously considering moving away but these floating short term rentals would kill our property value.
Let people work hard to buy their own bit of paradise.
