I do not agree with this amendment. I live full time in Muskoka since 2008 and I draw water from the lake for my cottage.
Floating residences will lead immediately to waste and refuse tossed directly into our water supply.
Noise and privacy issues will overwhelm our police departments.
Emergency personnel will bee burdened with responding to floating residences.
Intoxication on floating residences will result in a liability, adding to court dockets.
Spill incidents are bound to occur as our Solid waste transfer services are insufficient to support properly.
Please study why house boats caused such an uproar and were ultimately banned.
