Kahshe lake is a relatively small lake in area and is relatively shallow in depth ,add to that the rock ledges just below the surface and you have a recipe for catastrophe if you allow a vessel with large capacity tanks holding fuel, human waste and fluids generated by many hours on the water. The seasonal adjustments in the lakes level would add another complication to a permanent floating accommodation .The recent algae blooms might be contributed to by having the waters possibly used and returned to the lake . We feel it would also deprive its current residents of their quiet and private use of the lake . For these reasons we think the proposal is a very very bad idea.
