I am against floating structures on our lakes. They will affect the lake view of cottagers with the structure. I pay property taxes based on the area my property encompasses. The structures will not be included in the renters property taxes therefore some will benefit to increase their footprint due to a loophole. Who is to say that a cottager wont build a permanent floating property and gain more surface area to the original property?
I live on Kahshe Lake and I strongly object to this proposal.
