This is a terrible idea. The boating industry is already under attack from all sides (marinas closing, Lux tax, inflation etc). This proposal kills the historic traditions of tracking boats, will kill jobs, reduce tax revenues…just to benefit a few of the ultra wealthy who want to see the water but don’t want to see boats. It’s like moving to the country & complaining about horses, cows or farm equipment
