I am against this change, our family has been boating for many years and have always respected the water and homeowners/landowners spaces. All the boaters I have ever know have been respectful and ensure they don’t pollute our waterways.
This change will cause many more safety issues and tax payers dollars when boaters get into trouble in deeper water especially when anchored. Many life’s will be lost due to the change in this regulation. Weather changes on open water very fast and anchoring close to shore or in an alcove to stay safe has always been what sailors and boaters do to keep themselves safe.
Again I am against this change to the regulation
