This is a grave safety concern for boaters seeking safe harbour and visiting friends. 300m from shorelines with dwellings and/or even shore protection is not feasible putting lives at stake and putting them in direct paths of ferries and other shipping routes. IE, West side of Pelee Island to be offshore 300m puts anchored vessels to far out to be protected,and in line with the shipping traffic.
My understanding reading this is basically no anchoring even in front of property I own or a even a friend's home .
