As a long time, pleasure craft owner and current member of a yacht club, I feel this legislation would have an adverse effect on many recreational boaters. . Many of us will anchor close to shore for one or two nights as part of the boating experience. The legislation if passed as written Would take away that boating experience. I therefore feel that it should be modified to accommodate occasional anchoring in the waters adjacent to housing.
