I just attended the information session.
It appears the crux of the issue and discussion was around floating homes. While the questions were specific, the answers were vague.
The feedback and recommendations and feedback in my mind are simple;
1)MNRF should engage with Transport Canada to rescind the vessel designation, specifically for so called floating homes, which depicted in one of your slides was a shipping container on floats, which is not used for navigation and does not resemble anything like a vessel. Is this allowed under your current or proposed changes? if so, with all due respect your missing the Boat, so to speak.

2)As discussed on the call MNRF needs to explicitly delegate municipalities to have control over the lakebed per the Glaspell vs Ontario court case.

3)Lastly, MNRF needs to ensure that Ontario is treated like BC and apply the same definition and standards as BC.

Listening on the call, it is clear these are the issues and they need to be addressed and resolved in a timely fashion. The feedback was consistent and meaningful, it needs to be listened to and acted on.

Also please provide me with you answer on the Floating Shipping Container? On your slide, you showed it with an X which means it is not allowed, please confirm your answer, as it has been deemed a vessel?

Thank you for providing the forum and soliciting our feedback. I hope it leads to meaningful change.
