Hi Ontario has a responsibility to reduce our carbon emissions into the environment, this environment supports our existence on this planet and is not limitless. The Act currently in place helps to fulfil this obligation while also facilitating our economies shift to the new low carbon one we are all required to achieve. Canceling it without a new strong program in place will put Ontario behind in this shift, businesses will instead invest in other Provinces or Countries meaning when we go to catch up they will export to us at a cost rather than Ontario getting the jobs and exporting to the slow areas. Canceling this Act without a stronger program to replace it is like investing in a horse whip factory during the age of the automobile. Another modern example investing in Microsoft HD DVD when Sony's Blue-rays was getting all the sales. In business you are either ahead of the curve to make all the money or you are left to fight for the scraps. The current Act has us in the lead, what you have proposed takes us back and will make us the losers in the end. Cap and trade is the right way for Ontario to keep going please don't ruin this for the people of Ontario.
