Ontario should become a world leader in renewable energy technology by creating/supporting jobs for engineers and scientists as well as people to install and service projects.
Ontario is in a strong supply situation today however, renewable energy projects should proceed regardless of whether the project developer can show that there is a demand for the electricity. As we know, large scale project take a long time to bring on line and gather funding to develop so we need to plan for the future now and work to phase out higher polluting forms.
Grow the economy with renewables and stop support polluters.
