I'm a graduate student, an academic who's research is in the consequences of ignoring climate change. It is literally my job to produce facts and break down truths to their purest forms so that policy makers can do their jobs. Premier Ford, stop ignoring people like me. We're not a part of some agenda to screw over business owners or anything like that.

We are asking you to stop interfering with policy that hinders the development of green technology and energy. We're never going to face the full effects of accelerated climate change like other parts of the world, that doesn't mean we can keep behaving irresponsibly. Keep up investment in wind energy in places like Windsor-Essex where we already have established results of its success. Keep investment going in solar and greener energies than fossil fuels. Stop subsidizing the meat and dairy industry and incentivize these businesses to produce plant based products.

Stop ignoring scientists because history will be looking at you as one of the moron's who catered to ignorant voices as oppose to a leader who did the right thing regardless of what his followers thought. You can do the right thing and be a true leader
