I thoroughly and utterly oppose the cancelation of the Ontario Cap and Trade system. While taxing carbon may have only limited effect, not taxing it and continuing this juvenile political contest in the face of a looming disaster for our children and grandchildren is simply petty, cruel, and criminal. No better alternative has been proposed, and none is being planned, yet implementing a far more aggressive approach must begin immediately, and in any event the existing program must continue regardless. The longer this petty politicking goes on, the steeper the crash our descendants will suffer.
