This proposal is outrageous and yet another backroom deal of the Ford government, allowing developers to bypass permit requirements and to avoid getting caught by permit reviewers at the MOE.
The recent Brenntag fire has shown how quickly entire creeks can be polluted when material on site can find its way into the sewer system.
I'm a appalled at the idea that the ministry of the environment out of all government ministries would be proposing to no longer require Environmental Compliance Approvals for industrial and commercial stormwater management works.
