The Greenbelt was introduced…

The Greenbelt was introduced by then Premier Dalton McGuinty. Illegally in my opinion! Those who were affected were not given a choice. Nor were they compensated. It is an illegal taking of land. I believe Premier Ford is aware of the history because he called the Greenbelt a 'scam'. This scam has caused the owner's many problems trying to farm or use their property adhering to all the restrictions within the Greenbelt Act. The restrictions should to be published so that people have a better understanding of the rights taken from the owners by the McGuinty government. Premier Ford should not turn a blind eye to this situation. Ford can assign Greenbelt label to Crown property, i.e., municipal properties, parks, conservation land, etc. NOT land given to us in Ontario by our sovereign, prior to 1867 with our Crown Patent; a contract between our sovereign and us. Our Ontario and Federal government are breaking their oath to our sovereign when they create designations on private property settled before 1867. Politicians take an oath to the crown when being sworn in. This oath says they will uphold the crown and our constitutions. I am insisting that our crown grants are a contract from the King (crown) to us and government should not interfere with it. I am going to share my comment made here with the media, testing who will be willing to follow up, to keep our government from exploiting the Greenbelt scam any further.
