Hello.
While I respect your wish to expand human access to natural spaces, I am deeply concerned by the environmental impact and long term effects of this project. People do NOT NEED to go everywhere!
We know that trees contribute to cleaning our air and in a time when wiild fires are increasing in our region, we need them more than ever. The climate crisis and we should not be reducing the natural spaces and forests in our region.

We know that many species of animals, birds etc.. call this area their home. By developing it, we will be pushing them into smaller habitats that cannot sustain them. Many will be pushed out and enter our populated areas and that will cause a series of problems for them and the humans.

Humans have created many problems for the environment, yet we want more and more from the planet without giving up our comforts. If you must open up this natural space, consider a day-use only trail system that invites limited numbers in while protecting habitats and important forests for ALL!!
Concerned in Kingston!
