I would like to thank the Ontario Parks team for their diligence in both studying the landscape within and surrounding the proposed lands to be included in the proposed Bigwind Provincial Park. Generally, I see that the work completed has generally been thorough. Lire davantage

I am a regular user of provincial parks. I would love to see some backcountry hiking campsites available throughout the park. There are not enough of these in Ontario. Thank you Lire davantage

You should keep it a park. I am not sure who it benefits to wall off more of our nature so that we can have more commercial businesses there. Animals and plants are going to die because of this. It's disturbing and sad, I'm worried that the damage will be irreversible.

I love the idea of a new provincial park to visit and explore! Last summer we camped for over 90 days. Two issues I would like you to consider are an off leash dog beach/park and more campsites that accommodate trailers. Lire davantage

the meadow area that the Olde Wagon Trail skirts along Clear Creek (that the outflow of Gullfeather, Crosson and Spring Lakes takes in) can flood and submerge the road under at least 18" of water after extreme thunderstorm activity

please consider maintaining a controlled gateway at the north end of the Olde Wagon Trail and maintain the trail going north from the park for emergency egress out to the forest access road to Teapot Lake and Black River Road or Rill Lake

More backcountry sites, please. The demand will grow endlessly. It’s ridiculous to add 10x the amount of car camp sites It would be great to have infrastructure for winter activities like cross country skiing as Arrowhead is mobbed often Lire davantage

I believe that everyone should have access to nature, not just manicured urban parks, but back country spaces, away from noise and busy attractions. Currently it is very difficult to book sites due to lack of availability and high interest. This indicates that there is a great demand. Lire davantage

This new park is welcoming. Please highly consider having an off leash dog beach and trail area. The amount of off leash dog beaches are extremely limited and often not within a day trip from Toronto. Lire davantage
