As resident of the Weston downs community, I am extremely disappointed that this type of development would even be considered. This the proposed size, density and location of the development would be directly adjacent to long established residential communities and would be detrimental to the quality of life for the existing residents. Traffic congestion in an already congested corridor, lack of infrastructure to support this volume of population without requiring use of cars and removal of businesses commercial zone to provide employment are all valid reasons to deny this proposal. Resident should be up in arms to hold our elected leader to account for allowing this proposal to get as far as it has.
